Terms of Service
Service
Tiny Inbox is a personal commitment capture and triage tool, operated as a sole proprietorship by Mark Nelson, based in New Mexico, United States. You can capture items through the web app, a browser extension, Discord, Slack, email forwarding, or an MCP-compatible AI client. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico and the United States of America. If mandatory consumer law in your home jurisdiction gives you protections or access to courts that cannot be waived, this choice of law does not take them away. By using Tiny Inbox you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use this service. One account per person.
Acceptable use
Use Tiny Inbox for lawful purposes only. Do not attempt to abuse, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure. Do not use the service to store content that's illegal or that infringes someone else's rights. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Paid plans
Tiny Inbox offers a free tier with full capture and triage on the web, Slack, Discord, and the browser extension, plus 10 AI suggestions per calendar month. A paid Pro plan unlocks unlimited AI suggestions, email forwarding, MCP, and exports to Todoist and Google Tasks. Current pricing is onour pricing page.
Pro's "unlimited" AI suggestions are subject to fair-use limits to prevent automated abuse — the specific numbers are visible on your Settings → Subscription page. Excessive automated use may result in temporary suspension of AI features, with reasonable notice when possible.
Pro subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, your choice at checkout). Charges are processed through Stripe Managed Payments. Stripe's Link/Onelink customer-facing service acts as merchant of record for the order and handles the payment, applicable sales tax / VAT, receipts, transaction support, and order management. Tiny Inbox remains responsible for delivering and supporting the product and for legal obligations that apply to the product. Full card details never reach Tiny Inbox; they go directly from your browser to Stripe. See ourPrivacy Policy service-provider sectionfor the full data-handling summary.
You can cancel any time from Settings → Subscription. Cancellation stops auto-renewal — you keep Pro features for the rest of the billing period you've already paid for. We ordinarily don't issue partial refunds for unused time, but mandatory consumer rights and any more protective Link/Onelink refund policy still apply. Customers with a statutory cooling-off right can use ouronline withdrawal function. It records the withdrawal statement, supplies a timestamped email acknowledgement, and lets us route any necessary payment action through Link. Withdrawal is separate from ordinary cancellation.
If a payment fails, Stripe's Smart Retries automatically re-attempts the charge, typically over about a 2-week window. We treat your account as Pro for the duration of that retry window so a transient card issue doesn't interrupt access. Once Stripe stops retrying, the account moves back to Free; your data is preserved and Pro features can be re-enabled by re-subscribing.
Your data
You own the items you capture. We do not sell your data. We disclose it only to the service providers, independent payment/sign-in providers, and user-directed integrations described in ourPrivacy Policy. You can delete your account or download a copy of your data from your Settings page.
When you connect Tiny Inbox to third-party services (Google, Discord, GitHub, Slack, Todoist, Google Tasks), those services' own terms and privacy policies apply to any data shared through them.
Tiny Inbox does not currently offer organization/team accounts. Do not use it on behalf of an organization that requires Tiny Inbox to act as its processor unless we first execute an appropriateData Processing Addendum.
No warranty
Tiny Inbox is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantees of uptime, data retention, or fitness for any particular purpose. Use it at your own risk. This disclaimer does not exclude warranties, conformity rights, or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. For a material change, we'll update the effective date and provide reasonable notice through the service or your account email before the change takes effect when the change materially reduces your rights or increases your obligations. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where applicable law permits that method.
